When you press CASHIER and go to the 'Customer Details Form' you will see an 'Additional Information' box. Please use this to make any comment about these conditions.

After you order: You will receive a confirmation email with an order reference number. Please use the number in any future communication.

You can pay by credit card only: SWITCH, SOLO, MASTERCARD, VISA, DELTA are all accepted. Our Merchant Account for receiving payment over the internet is with the Royal Bank of Scotland plc in the UK. We process your order by hand as a 'Cardholder Not Present' transaction using our in office terminal which is linked directly to the Bank who give payment authorisation. You will be notified by email if, for some reason, Bank authorisation is refused. Your credit card details are not kept on record (see security) and will not be used for any purpose other than the order you have placed with us.

Security: Customer trust is extremely important to us so we maintain very high standards of security.
1. On the 'Credit Card Transaction Form' you will note a padlock or unbroken key located in the bottom part of the browser, it means that we receive your credit card details as an encrypted email using a secure credit card data collection script running on a secure server. It's probably safer than an 'over the counter purchase' and is certainly far safer than a telephone order.
2. For security reasons your credit card records are deleted from our files once your order is complete. Unfortunately this means that each time you order you are asked to submit your credit card details. We feel this is the best way to guard against credit card misuse and protect your credit card details. We hope that it's not too much of an inconvenience.

Currency: All prices are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling.. You can find out the value of an order in another currency by using the 'Currency Converter' at the checkout. The exact amount you pay will depend on the currency exchange rate used by your credit card company.

Price: Our pricing policy is based on charging you no more than the average cost of a trip to the local shop to buy and post your greeting cards.

Tax: The greeting cards displayed on this web site are purchased and then posted in the UK. The service is therefore subject to value added tax (VAT) which is included in the price along with the postage.

Quality: The greeting cards in our selections are purchased from reputable manufacturers and are all of high quality. If you would like a list of the manufacturers names or more details about the greeting cards please email us.

Your contract: is with Goldbug which is solely owned by the Direct Design partnership based in Perth, Scotland.

Guarantee of satisfaction: We value your business and our aim is to ensure that your greeting card arrives in tact with your personal message inside. However, if for some unexpected reason these objectives are not met we will refund the full amount of your credit card transaction. Please let us know, preferably by email, if you have a complaint.

Proof of postage: This is obtained for all orders. If you want to know when your greeting card was posted just email us requesting the date of posting, giving your email address and your order reference number.

Delivery method: Royal Mail is the carrier used by Goldbug. Greeting cards are delivered by 1st class mail to UK destinations and by airmail to all other destinations. Greeting cards are uninsured and no proof of delivery is requested.

Delivery time: The delivery times stated in this web site are Royal Mail's general delivery aims. If your greeting card must arrive before a certain date use the information on the 'Delivery Date' page to work out when you must order. Try to allow at least one more day if the date of delivery is critical to you.

Out of stock: Greeting cards on display are updated during UK office hours. If there is a sudden heavy demand for one particular greeting card when staff are absent it may remain on display when actually out of stock. To meet your dispatch date it may be necessary to use a greeting card in the same group if new stock does not arrive in time. Please use the 'Additional Information ' box if you have any special instructions.

Refusal of an order: Goldbug reserve the right to refuse an order but you will be emailed if this is the case. Messages that may cause offence cannot be accepted.
